Many of our Golf Camps will be hosting Winter & Winter Break Reunions for their previous campers, and Winter & Winter Break Open Houses for interested new campers and families. Each camp is different, and some offer activities for the entire family.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The Windridge Experience is unique among children's summer camps. We incorporate highly specialized tennis, soccer and horseback riding programs within the traditional framework of a rural New England camp setting. Windridge also offers many elective programs such as golf, mountain biking, archery, ropes course, basketball, volleyball, arts & crafts and more. Tennis Magazine chose Windridge as, one of the top ten tennis camps in the United States.

CAMP FACILITIES: Includes over 50 cabins with electricity, large dining, historic horse barn, indoor riding arena, 2 full size soccer fields, 22 tennis courts, swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, mountain biking, archery, ropes course, trails, rustic amphitheater, and a multipurpose sports hall.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Windridge...a tradition of tennis, soccer and horseback riding and so much more for almost 50 years. Located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Windridge Tennis and Sports Camps stand unique in that we feature specialized sports programs within the framework of a traditional New England camp setting. Since 1968, children have come to Windridge from most of the fifty states and many foreign countries to share in the Windridge experience.
Our campers make a commitment to hard work, good sportsmanship and wholesome fun and laughter. Within a warm and friendly environment campers make lifelong friends while learning skills for life. We offer 2 and 3 week co-ed sessions from June through August, serving ages 7-15 year-olds. Our 4:1 camper to counselor ratio is an important factor in our warm and nurturing environment.
We offer “majors” in tennis, soccer and horseback riding, and also offer many elective programs such as golf, mountain biking, archery, ropes course, basketball, volleyball, arts & crafts and more. We add to this a wide variety of exceptional evening activities and special events to create a well-rounded experience for each camper.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Windridge is looking for counseling staff that are not only qualified in their playing and teaching ability but also enthusiastic, patient and interested in young people. Our main focuses are tennis, horseback riding and soccer. We have an extensive electives program that includes lacrosse, golf, drama, archery, arts & crafts, ropes course, mountain biking, swimming and much more.

Some Top Vermont Golf Camps offer rigorous daily golf training and lots of intensive golf experience. Other great Vermont Camps offer golf as an elective or recreational activity with much less training and intensity.

CAMP LOCATION: Located in the beautiful mountains of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, our lake-side campus is 1.5 hours from Burlington, VT, 2.5 hours from Montreal, 4 hours from Boston, and 7 hours drive from New York City. Transportation form Burlington International Airport is available.
CAMP FACILITIES: Hosmer Point offers the quintessential camp experience with rustic cabins sleeping 6-10 campers (and 2 counselors), dining hall, lounge, theater, arts and crafts building, mountain bike park, archery range, tennis courts, hiking trails, and bouldering wall. Our waterfront boasts a sandy beach, waterslide, aqua jump, and canoeing, paddleboarding, sailing, and sculling equipment. We also have a camp farm with pigs, chickens, goats, and sheep; and a garden where campers can help grow their own yummy veggies.

Hosmer Point is a non-profit American Camp Association accredited camp.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Hosmer Point offers an LIT program for 16 year olds and a CIT program for 17 year olds. Campers must have attended Hosmer Point previously.
